Portraits - L is for Olive

Last week, I met with fellow Melbournian to Sydney-sider, Livia from L is for Olive, and had a stop for lunch at The Fine Food Store in the Rocks. This location is right near the Harbour Bridge and overlooks the Opera House. After a chat over a Pumpkin and Feta on Sourdough and quesadillas (for Liv), we headed out towards the Harbour Bridge for a shoot. We had to shoot quickly to dodge everyone who was walking past and stopping out of curiousity to see what we were doing. After the little shoot on the bridge, we headed down towards the water and took some more images with the Opera House in the background. Luckily, we had finished just when it started to drizzle as the rain wasn't very forgiving shortly afterwards.

コーヒー (Coffee)

So I spent a morning pushing ground coffee around to create this type out of my Moccona Wholebean Reserve for their Instagram campaign, whilst sipping on a cup of this blend at the same time. I'd always wanted to create type out of food, and think that this may be the beginning of a collection of the same kind.

Downloadables: Christmas Cards

I've spent the last couple of days playing around with hand lettering, which I've always been in love which and have practiced on and off. With Christmas around the corner, I thought what a better way to create something that can be used for the upcoming festive season to get into the spirit. I'll be spending my Christmas this year in Paris, it's been a long time since I've had one in the winter, so I'm looking forward to a different sort of Christmas

Anyway, I hope you guys like these, I made three different cards that you guys can print and give to your friends and family!
