Patent, Pony Hair, Tassled, Printed, Pointed, Buckled or the new hybrid Loafer-Mules, the humble loafer comes in an array of different shapes and sizes. As an alternative to ballet flats, I love wearing loafers because this type of shoe offers a little more support for your feet and also adds a touch of man-tailored style to your outfit. Personally, I pair mine with cropped ankle skinny jeans, but if you're someone who is more adventurous than me, you can opt to pair them with boyfriend jeans, trousers, skirts of differing lengths, or even rock them with a pair of ankle-dress socks.
